'We are getting married in May! Just a civil ceremony and then summer 2014 we are going to do a destination wedding in mexico for both of our families!!!'...

Congrats Michele! Though I would advise you not to go to Mexico if you want to keep your head on your shoulders. They fucked with us last time with assault rifles (the police) this was at a really nice resort town and this was a few years back. Before it even got as insane as it is.
I will never go back there again. Just be careful. But again..Congrats!

all jokes aside Michele I really do hope it works out its just that I think you are moving waaaay too fast in this, I have a friend who married a girl he dated less than a year...a few years to the present and he's now divorced.

thanks for your concerns jesse, I appreciate it. But I am older and wiser, and I have learned alot from the past. A few times in my relationship with him I was quick to jump to conclusions and doubt him BECAUSE I had been duped and burned so many times before, but everytime I was wrong and I have had to learn to be secure and to trust him, and he the same with me, he has had alot of bad past experiences himself. But we have grown and we communicate very well with each other, we never jump to arguing and I think he has finally learned also to not avoid me when he has a problem with me, but to communicate and talk it out.

So far our cohabitating has been great, there hasnt been any problems at all. He is moving in the remainder of his things in today, bringing his brother to help.

I honestly have just never felt more at peace with any man than with him. I dont feel that it is fast because it has never felt more right. When I was marrying darwin I did have some doubts about it beforehand and I should have listened to my instincts and I didnt. My instincts from the very beginning with Daniel have been that he is the right man and any time I ever had any doubts about him have not come from my instincts but simply from past experience with other men that have clouded my judgement. Also I am turning 36 next month, honestly we want to have a kid or two we are almost too old to do that and we also want to enjoy life together first as a married couple for at least a year before trying to get pregnant. We are also both going to go to the doctors to get checked out to make sure we are in good health and that we are fertile. And if we arent and cant have kids naturally, we have talked about adopting. He has a doctor appt in a couple of weeks to check his sperm levels.

No man has ever so willingly and naturally taken care of me and in such a loving way. I am not used to that at all! Of course I can take care of myself, but it is SOOOOO nice to have someone who wants to take care of me and who does.

also you cant go by how long a couple has been together. I have known or heard of many couples who got married quickly and have stayed together for many years and have been very happy. Also have heard or known couples who were together years and years before getting married and didnt last long together after they got married.

one of my closest friends was with her husband for 4 years before they got married. they have been married 7 years now but from the very first year they have had constant problems, and for most of their marriage she has been contemplating seperation. She has cheated on him or almost cheated on him a few times, he has a drinking problem plus other ways he doesnt always treat her well. She has never left yet because whenever she is about to, things get better for a little while then they get bad again. They have 1 child, she is 5. He wants more children but she wont have any more kids with him till she is sure that they will be able to remain together forever. She is still unsure of this which is why 5 years later they still have not had any more kids.
