okay, just finished writing out a birthday card to my "son" Martin, his birthday is tomorrow, I went to Google Translate and typed out the message I wanted translated into Spanish so I could write in Spanish in his card, but then I also wrote in the card the English of what I wrote so he has both, maybe he can learn a little between the comparison, or he can tell me how much the Spanish translation was wrong, lol

also got him a bottle to tequila and a gift card

Google translate always gets it wrong when you translate from English to Finnish so... good luck! LOL.



Today short day and then the trip to Hämeenlinna (round 2.5 hours). I'll be back tomorrow.

Oops... hello scary garden I assume this is probably election related. Along those lines, did you know that Henry Fonda ( staunch Democrat) and Jimmy Stewart ( staunch Republican) were best friends? Did you also know that one night they literally came to blows arguing over politics? They then made up, remained best friends BUT agreed NEVAIR to discuss politics with one another again.

My grandmother used to say that and though sometimes it is hard to bite one's tongue, I try not to do it with the people I love. Nothing good ever came of that. We have to think about the sum total of the person, the things we have in common, which are so many, all the trials and tribulations we've shared with one another over the years.... Soo much more important and meaningful than this damned election. I've never seen an election and its aftermath more bitter and divisive than this one. And actually seeing Dan and Michele at each other's throats has given me some much needed perspective on it!

On another note, I am taking Mark to court. He has on numerous occasions and in numerous ways deliberately defaulted on a binding court order. I am cautiously optimistic about my new lawyer who I saw fighting a case in court some time ago and really socking it to the opposition and I thought to myself" I want that lady in MY corner.

She is English btw and speaks in tones of cut glass as she eviserates the opposition. So keep your fingers crossed four me. It is time that there was a karmic reckoning and Mark got even a small dose of the misery and humiliation and tears that he gave me.

Hope that works out for you, I used to love watching strong lawyers in court who really knew their stuff. Also kinda fun watching the crap ones get torn to shreds! Sounds like yours is a good one.

Been out for a meal with old workmates for someone's 50th. She's notorious for getting drunk really fast. She accidentally set fire to her napkin with a candle on the table so we had to put it out in a glass of water!! And the rest of the restaurant was all quiet couples looking into each others eyes but our table was rowdy and started a fire!!! So funny!
