The ending left me cold... its also much "ha ha" - fun than the others. I liked a lot of it but at the same time, I am not sure what I was watching.

I wonder if hard core Iron Man comic book fans are mad that they made The Mandarin out to be a joke, I thought it was clever and worked very well. Not sure about that thing with Pepper though, her character has always been meh to me

I did not stay for end credits.

I did not like the Pepper thing and scrap metal iron mans. I have liked Potts thusfar. I wondered about Mandarin as well, whether the die hard fans were all "Nooo!"

end credit scene was Tony Stark on a couch talking to Bruce Banner about his life and Banner is sleeping through most of it and Stark is like you aren't even listening to me? And Banner is like I'm not that kind of doctor, I don't have the temperament for it, lol. so it was more of a joke scene but it was cute, Banner still played by Mark Ruffalo

I saw it today, and I was one of those hardcore fans who went 'NNNOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!' when they revealed the Mandarin as a joke; I actually lost interest about then and during the end fight I just kept thinking, For fuck's sake get it over with!

agreed; and then you thought it was over and then it went on and on and on. I was a very dark movie as well, but I did like the Mandarin's line about America and fortune cookies

I liked all the tech involved in the movie, the way Tony Stark got all Sherlock Holmes in his investigation, lol. See Iron Man isn't about the suit, its about the man, and I felt this explored the man Tony Stark and his relation to the world and his personal anxieties very well.

I believe so yes, hoping that will be better than the first, less earth stuff I hear, it was the earth stuff that was boring in the first movie

so would you if you were the hulk lol. i want to see it but probably wont be able to till its on dvd, unless craig gets a friend to dowload it for us. from what ive seen of the trailer for thor 2 it looks amazing
