So, out of the blue this morning, William says to me" You're ugly", in a really nasty voice. We hadn't been fighting or anything. He's a troublesome child, at times. He tells lies frequently and is often deliberately cruel to his sister who never responds in kind. I adore the little blighter but I
am not blind to his faults. I always have to tell him to say please and thank you to servers and restaurants and yesterday he actually had the gall to say to the waiter in a rude voice "where the heck is my lasagna?" I ticked him off for it, of course but the problem is that one of his primary role models is his father who is a rude, mean asshole.

To add to the list of insane things Mark has done to the kids: He has told them that pot is" good fer you" cos it" chills you out" and that it should be legalized. I don't disagree but seriously, telling a six and eight year old this?? INSANE. He'll be smoking it with them in no time at all, I reckon. He's such a bloody lowlife.  

I booked a party for this weekend and something told me I could highball the price so I said 1000 for four hours and they said yes:disco: . 

So praps CChristmas won't have to be quite as mingy as I initially anticipated.

Smoking anything is not good for anyone. Each to their own though. Thank goodness your kids have you Shelia because your ex sounds like an idiot. Thankfully you are the voice of reason for them and they will pick that up.

It sounds like Christmas will be wonderful for you and your family. My mum is a Tarot reader and has been doing it since I was a child. She's very good at it too and often did parties and expo's and stuff like that. She was due to do the Mind Body and Spirit festival in Melbourne this weekend but had to cancel due to the fact that she's having a hernia operation next week and she gets very tired doing those festivals. She loves doing them though and it has helped out over the years financially as well. It's great, she helps people and in turn they help her.

Absolutely freezing in the office today - I have my coat on!!! I know I feel the cold more than most but this is ridiculous!

There's SNOW on the ground. I am so not pleased.

 

Today will be a good day. Our employer gives us employees 40 euros each and we can use it for entertainment/sport whatnot. So us girls (there are 3 of us in the team) will spend 2 hours under makeup brush. They will teach us how to do it at the same time. And after that there will be coffee and cake  And later I will meet my friend and we'll go see Gravity.

Indeed I had a good day yesterday! Got nice tips and we were all pleased.

Buuut... I have been exercising for few days and my thighs are screaming. I guess I am doing something right but because of the pains, going to leave it for today. Maybe a long walk or working my arms in stead.

Friday - payday!! And I have Monday and Tuesday off  

You're doing something right Anne, resting is as important as the exercise..... never exercise the same group of muscles 2 days running... check me with my fitness knowledge  

I've not been to the gym so much this week, only Monday, should go today really but been busy picking up a second hand chest of drawers for the 2nd bedroom this morning. It was payday yesterday so I really want to buy at least one thing each month for the flat as been here almost 6 months and I don't have everything I want yet. Sick of seeing his clothes all over the floor!!

I've always heard that abs are a muscle group you can exercise every day, no?

Anyway the fuckin asshole who booked that party changed the date at the last minute so I didn't book other readings for Saturday and now am screwed. Grrr. He was a total prick about it too. So... Some people are real assholes. But it's a comfort to know that I am not them! Being them must be very unpleasant.

Has anyone heard of a book called" The Night Circus" by Erin Morgenstern? Everyone is recommending it to me....

No, because I have my regular gig at the Turkish restaurant next weekend. So I missed out on the 1000 bucks. 

Anyone know anything about housebreaking puppies?? I am sorely in need of advice!

I know it took us about 6 weeks to get vinny fully housetrained...he was getting better at 4 weeks.... It is frustrating!!! Just trying to recognise the signs and trying to get them outside. Or at times you know they need to go like first thing in the morning. I think we tried getting him to go on newspapers in the house at first but it never really worked.
