| OMG! That's just the thing! I don't like the song either. It's one of those songs you don't mind hearing on the radio whilst cleaning. But, it wasn't gary....it was Cheryl! SHEESH. First i thought something was wrong with the sound. But, Gary had no problem singing it. Cheryl butchered it, tho. in front of the Queen.
I wonder if the Queen was like... Look at those arseholes.jumping around like idiots. as if i know them. Can't I hold a speech and go home? THEY PUT FIREWORKS ON MY ROOF!?WTF?

| I really liked the spectacle of the concert last night, not all the acts were great, elton and Paul mcartney's voices sounded tired and not the best I thought. But I was left feeling warm and fuzzy....which I don't really understand! I am not someone who ever utters "I am proud to be British" because I don't buy into that kind of ethos. Being proud of something you had no control over is silly. But that's the closest to how I felt. I guess because we pulled off an amazing event. We as a country. And I liked prince Charles's speech, I'm glad he acknowledged that not everyone has it easy in this country at the moment. | |

| Who paid for all this jubilee business? I thought you Brits were in economic troubled waters as well? | |

| Exactly, Jane. Hell; I even 'felt' british when they got the Olympics. i remember watching david beckham and Denise Lewis crying and screaming on the big screen when it was announced. and I actually felt so happy for them.Because they campaigned for months. It's the same thing with the end of the concert. the happy people, the fireworks. It looked great But it was kinda special when Charles thanked her on behalf of the nation. I thought it was a really sweet moment. I wonder what went through her. seeing all those people celebrating her. Must be a very humbling experience.
But, it's done now. I can go back to hatin' on her. British Royals have more pageantry. They come closest to the romantic idea of Royalty. Most royal families nowadays, are quite boring. The Saksen-Coburg und Gotha family knows how to put on a show! i actually like that name better than Windsor. I wonder if they still use it and speak german behind closed doors:P

It has already been paid for. just like every future Crowning, burial, wedding, etc. I think it was stevie who said that the Windsor' cost the taxpayer 60 pence per year. It's the same with other royal houses in europe;they cost the people very little and it all goes into a seperate Royal fund. They can't touch it freely, though. the Government decides what to do with it(state-visits,jubilee's,etc). Royalties can use their own money to buy stuff:P As a business-the royal houses are lucrative enough to generate their own money. Which is why more royal houses are starting to pay income tax.

| LOL. It's a "tolerated" scheme. If countries want to get rid of their constitutional monarchies; they'll get rid of them. the only reason why royal houses exist today, is because the people allow it to be so. One day it'll be all over. Just like Germany. I don't think royalties would care-financially speaking? I mean; they have their own personal wealth. | |

| She spreads Marmite on their little heads before she starts munching on their brains I never really pay attention to the queens' fashion. She always dresses appropiate. But, the outfits she been rockin' these past few days...I loved it. I love this outfit. But, the golden dress she was wearing last night...I was sortta watching it with one eye on my comp and one on the screen and then she walked on and I was like: that is one fine-fucking-frock! FIERCE!

| I have been thinking about the frocks and gowns as well and it finally hit me this afternoon with an old fashioned on the front porch while looking at the sunset.
Note to Dan
Hello retard! These are historic costumes meant to last three hundred years or more just like the first Elizabeth.

| Nah it'll be an epic battle for the control of the Universe. Queen Lizzy and the Darck lord duking it out in a mud-fight. topless. getting hard just thinking about it.
She looks old because, she is old. but, she looks good. Healthy and sturdy. She'll stick around to break the world record for female monarchs, move on to the mens' record(i've read that there is/was this male sovereign who has reigned longer than Victoria-don't know who? and what country?)and then stay alive for another 20 years, just to piss people off. I find it funny how, people think that Charles will never wear the Crown. i just don't see lizzy retiring in 4 years and William taking over. He's way too young. He'll probably have a young family...I dont think Lizzy would like her grandson to be a young monarch like she was.

| I actually did'nt sleep. bloody insomnia. i have to be in the Hague by 10:00. I sooooo don't wanna gooooo! I wanna stay home. It's really one of those days where I feel my inner child go:" I don't wanna!"
Completely unrelated. i quit smoking, somewhere in Feb. and it's great. But, you would think the hoarseness'd be gone by now, right? i still sound Marge Simpsons' sisters.

| One good thing about smoking is that you don't get a flu as often. My mother never does and my stepdad did not used to either but then he stopped smoking and ta daa, flus are back. Also for some reason Ulcerative colitis "likes" smoking, people who stop smoking sometimes get an ulcerative colitis or if you have colitis and start smoking, the symptoms might go away or become easier. Of course smoking is so bad for you that they would never recommend us "colon-people" to start smoking but still, pretty funny. | |

| A cancer-stick to calm down your colitis...:P Michele-is this John Baczinsky a friend of yours? I think you should tell him off for basically telling me that, i'm a clueless, dutch, sheep-fucker I told Michele how weird it seemed to me that, if one State prohibits abortion and another doesn't...that women would have to move to another state to excercize their right of dominion over their body. Michele responded by saying that, they did'nt have to move; you just drive!(i know...) I think Baczinsky checked out my profile and saw that i'm dutch and said that; i'm from the Netherlands and have no clue about america. And i told him that he IS an american and has no clue. I presented Michele with some questions and observations. and again the guy butts in with: Go fuck some sheep in the Netherlands, idiot. I wanted to respond by saying that, the souls of his dead babies must be glowing with pride now that, their murdering daddy is doing 'penance' by jumping on the anti-abortion bandwagon(what? i can do waaaaay worse, boo!) But then I thought; what if he's an actual friend of Michele's? so i kept it mild. | |
