Aside from that it is a very intense and atmospheric film.

Well it wasn't technically our favorite movies but rather movies we think others shoud see. For example the empire strikes back is my favorite all time movie but seeing and liking it is a required taste. Often linked to childhood.

While I love TESB I probably haven't watched it for about six years; but it's like an old t-shirt, and feels just so right when you put it on

My kids love The Empire Strikes Back...so I have now seen it...A LOT. I wont say it is ruined for me but it will never hold the same appeal

Well when you say that about favourite films and knowing all the lines it makes me think of Withnail and I which Im certain a few people here would like. Im resisting the temptation to start quoting from it..."It is the most shattering experience of a young man's life to wake one morning and say to himself,quite reasonably'I shall never play the Dane" ...""I mean to hsve you even if it must be burglary!" ...aarggh couldnt resist.

And Pans Labyrinth is one of the finest movies I have ever seen and I cant imagine anyone here not liking it a lot.

Then there is Pulp Fiction. It deffo fits into the category of a movie everyone should see because even if you dont like it,its such a pop cultural reference point.

I am a big fan of doing that, I dont know I am the kind of person who can watch movies I love about 300 times and never tire of them

I can do most of the lines from "the Devil wears prada"(because of the HILARIOUS and underrated Emily Blunt) and "Kill Bill"

everyone I know says I must watch 'Skyfall' but the Daniel Craig Bonds are so serious and dreary I simply can't muster the enthusiasm; I miss the days of Bond Girls like 'Brenda Bigmuff' and so on

Cloud Atlas for its beautiful cinematic symmentry
