got invited over to a friends place for dinner

went to bed early last night, bummed about the concert, and so because I didn't get drunk I got to get up early and go to the gym, workout felt great!

I went to gym 4 days out of 5 this week + hopefully going for a run tomorrow (if it doesn't rain!)

I wish I was as dedicated to writing my essays! Got 2 due in by 16th Dec then 1 more on 21 Dec. Then I can relax and enjoy a week off work and study for christmas! I have almost completed essay number 1 and it has been a struggle. Other 2 should be easier.

the restaurant wouldnt let me waitress today because of my cold. Kind of sucked cause I need to work, however I also hate waitressing when I am sick, it isnt right to do so. Not good for me nor the customers.

God I love privately owned restaurants. they are so different than corporate ones! You could have a stomach virus and be vomitting every hour and Chilis would still demand you come into work or they fire you unless your sick ass can get your shift covered at the last minute. Cant get it covered? you are canned

The Hawk!! how do you know of it, Dan?! and the reason is that there used to be a Doctor Who shop there - it's gone now but we love the little village so make a yearly visit there for our Xmas diner. Sometimes we stay there for Valentines as well, in a little guest house called Fraser's, in the Mexican Room

I am glad they didn't. I hate being waitressed or served by someone who has a flu or is obviously sick (though of course its bad for you as well). Just the other day there was a very sickly cashier in my local shop. I was like "Go home you germ spreader!"

2 full weeks before xmas. Yawn! I have bought almost all of my pressies. Few are in the post.. hopefully they make it.

I have a swollen gum.. I am going to give it a day or two but then I suppose I have to give in and go to the dentist. Its been like that since last Friday but sometimes when you do the whole extreme tooth brushing, mouthwash etc, it goes away on its own.
