this morning I had a little scare, I thought there was something wrong with Pequena.

The nights I waitress my mom comes over to feed pequena her dinner. I feed her 3 times a day. Early in the morning she gets a scoop of wet food. Then before I leave for work or if I am off then it is in the midday, she gets 1/4 cup of dry food. For dinner she gets another scoop of wet food.

Since Daniel also works nights, my mom still comes over when I work at the restaurant cause he is not home to feed her either.

Well last night my mom forgot to feed her, but I didn't realize it. She always leaves a couple of lights on for me when she is here, but Daniel always gets home before me on sunday nights

This morning she didn't bug me to get up and feed her. When I went to feed her, I saw she didn't eat all her dry food. This is unusual, she always eats all of it and her dry food is her lunch meal so that told me that my mom had not been here. I called my mom and she said yes, I forgot but she figured I would have realized and I would have fed her when I got home. I said no I didn't realize because Daniel was home when I got home. So I fed her her breakfast, and she hardly ate any of it. So I was starting to panic, she must be ill or something because she didn't finish her lunch from yesterday, she never got her dinner so she should be starving but she is not acting hungry at all and now she is hardly eating her breakfast.

So I am telling Daniel how I think she might have a problem and that I am worried that she is hardly eating. And he then tells me that he noticed that my mom did not come over last night so he fed her when he got home. I said what did you feed her? He said he gave her two big scoops of dry food.

Well no wonder she left some of it behind AND wasn't hungry, he fed her more than twice the amount of dry food that I ever give her! her stomach 10 hours later is probably still digesting all that food! Julien's Juice 531 ~ Yes, you have failed. Quit whining and move on. 181055911

My female cat sometimes stops eating for few days.. nothing wrong with her, just doesn't want to. And then continues like normal again. Its not a norm for cats to feast but I guess sometimes they just do.

I have never heard of a cat not eating for days unless they are ill or are extremely stressed

Our family cat Peppi did it now and then too. Lived to see senior days. But yeah, usually it is serious when cat does not eat.

I wanted to see Cloud Atlas but it was really late showings and it's quite long. I loved the book once I got past chapter 1 which was quite hard to read because of the language...

yes but for some reason, cats are the more popular pet over dogs, at least in the US they are. More households in the US have cats than dogs, which surprised me when I saw that statistic
