I was home yesterday because I felt sick... not feeling great today either but did come to work. I almost passed out at the lunch table. lol. Not cool.

I have decent teeth too. Never had a cavity or root canal. Though I am prone to gingivitis if I am not strictly adhering to a good cleaning regimen. My teeth do need to be whitened, though

The entire united states is enveloped in extreme cold weather. Literally every state EXCEPT florida. lol. They showed a map on the weather channel the other day. It is crazy. We had snow on sunday and again yesterday and we are maybe getting snow again on Saturday. Here in Philadelphia, we rarely get snow before January or the end of December. Most years we do not get any snow until sometime in January. I hope that we are getting all the snow now, and none the rest of the winter. That would be sweet.

But the snow on Saturday better not fuck up my work! I am broke as hell and I finally got a new serving job. I need to work!

Everyone going to see The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug? I am going to check it out tomorrow though I know it will be damn long again.

I may see it but didn't even see the first part! Is it released around Xmas time?

I'm going Friday Anne! I want to see it in the big ass IMAX but unfortunately its only in 3D on IMAX, I don't want 3D but I do want big ass IMAX so guess I'll be seeing it in 3D!

I am going to see it in hrf 3D.. last time the beginning was ugly because of it but hopefully they have improved it.

  

So I felt terrible yesterday and then I just happened to look at the pill package and what I felt were side effects. Yet again. I am so happy about that.

Doing some Christmas shopping today after work

Its my blood pressure that is causing this. It goes too low apparently.. I am going to have it measured today. I'll always had a low blood preasure which is of course good but there is a limit. If it goes low enough, you pass out. Grrrreat.

  

Saw Hobbit yesterday and yeah, it is certainly watchable. It does show how thin of a story it is... sadly but there is still much to see and admire. Plenty of winks towards LOTR trilogy as well and they start right from the beginning.

Nicky, i finished reading shada last night, have you seen the unfinished version that was released on video? I also had no idea douglas adams was the script editor in the late 70s, now i want to watch the other two episodes adams wrote. Oh and who is the black guardian? He was mentioned near the end of the book but ive never heard of them

Today I am Christmas menu planning and Christmas food shopping. AAAND decorating the tree and drinking eggnog. It is 15 below Celsius here and it looks like a winter wonderland but I stay indoors as much as possible *watching* it by the fire....

Up early - working on my essay that I need to submit by midnight tonight. I had 2 to do by today, finished one of them. Then it's just one more to do by next Monday, then I can relax and wait for Christmas......

 

Still doing essay, and behind at work also, this week is madly hectic with reports to write and deadlines.... Next mon and tues I am not booking clients in so I can catch up before Christmas break.

Still haven't had time to get my dad or Cosmin Christmas presents yet!!!

the finished episodes are ok, they're on DVD now as well; the Black Guardian was a villain in 70s and 80s Who, like the ultimate manifestation of evil; there was the White Guardian as well, who was the ultimate manifestation for good. Bit dodgy now if you ask me, those colour codings...

Got all my Christmas shopping and wrapping done! And the tree is up and we will decorate it on Yule (the 21st). Happy happy Christmas to y'all. I may not be around much over the next coupla weeks so I'm wishing you it in advance.
