I agree, and I'm pretty sure research has been done in this area. If you as a sick person know that others are praying for you and you believe in god..pretty sure that kind of mindset can help you recover.

I dont know, I ask myself this question sometime. Although I dont eat a lot of meat, and some days I dont eat meat at all which makes me think that I could. However, I think that if we were meant to be omnivores we wouldnt eat meat at all, so I think as a species we are supposed to. And I just dont like soy that much to replace meat with it. Plus there is a lot of literature suggesting that soy is not that good for you (especially for women because it interfers with our estrogen) but especially since almost all soy in this country is genetically modifed, I cant put my life in the hands of soy over meat.

I couldn't stop as I'm so fussy about what I can eat.

But if we had to kill our own meat like in days of old most people wouldn't be able to.

It would be very difficult for me to stop eating meat entirely. I do sometimes play with the idea but I have never been dead serious. Humans have always eaten meat though not in large quontities like today. Someone said that it started to go horribily wrong when we started to eat it like bread, in stead of considering it as something special. A feast. That change of thinking lead to mass production and the cruel use of animals.

well in the early days of the human species, the "caveman" days, meat what was people primarily ate. There was no agriculture back then, only root vegatables and fruit.

Yes but the meat was low fat and they ate what they got. So there were days when they had none. But yes, meat has always been there. I guess this diet is good for your heart, blood preasure etc but can cause osteoporosis. It wasn't a problem for them because of their short lives but for us, it would be.

But I think we have passed that idea that only one way of eating is the right way. Its different for different people. I cannot eat everything that is considered healthy.. for example many things high in fiber, give me an very upset stomach. Luckily in this plentiful world, there are always options.

2 times in my life I have had to go an entire year without sex. But without sex or masturbation? Probably about a week for me! lol

Exactly! It seems to be more allowed for women though technically a women of that age can totally push a younger boy into doing things he isn't ready for.
