I have off tomorrow for Veteran's Day. Want to play my game all night but getting sleepy! Was just playing for almost two hours. Shut off cause I was starving, eating a couple tacos. Want to play more but just may lie down cause my body is on schedule and thinking it should be sleeping!

At work and bored. Last night I saw Skyfall... it left me bit conflicted.

how so?

It was a non Bond, Bond movie. I mean there were good elements and interesting end... but at the same time, the middle is boring and slow. I guess they did not know if they were making a serious movie or a Bond movie.

that's what put me off seeing it, think I'll wait for DVD. I've said prefer, I like the lighter 'Pussy Galore'-type Bond films

I saw a lovely bag I liked in Zara today but it had a tiny mark on it; it was the last one and they wouldn't give me a slight discount, so, after making them wipe and scrubb the mark for maybe five minutes I left without buying it! their loss!

I just found this on yahoo. 20 states have started petitions to secede from the USA. this is CRAZY! According to this article, this also happened in 2004 and 2008, though not to the degree of this many states and this many signatures. It goes to say that the chances of any of the states from seceding and forming their own independent gov are slim to nil, still the fact that people are this enraged about who are leader is and the direction of our government is going speaks volumes. I think it mostly has to do with the insane tax hikes that will be coming down our pike that will just pay for more war and more useless government waste, as well as our already massive debt that is on our backs.'

I just love it when I jump to massively wrong conclusions. I have been burned so many times and I have so much distrust for men, that my poor boyfriend gets me jumping to the wrong conclusions for this and that. I have not talked to him in 8 days, have not heard from him, his phone has been shut off. I jumped to the conclusion that he got back with his ex gf and was too coward to tell me. I finally JUST talked to him a bit online, and he is coming over tom to tell me everything but apparently, it is an immigration thing and I think he was saying that he is going to have to go back to mexico soon? I don't know, he can tell me better in person tom. But I feel like an ass.

my youngest brother leaving by train to stay with our sister in Utah for a couple months, sister wanted to know if I would be able to come to Utah for Thanksgiving but told her I couldn't, not econimcally feasible for me right now, so I'll just be staying home cooking for myself and the dog at this point, which is fine with me, I'd rather just play my video game and not entertain guests

Turkey clubs for our lunch. Just started craving one last night and knew it would not go away until I had one.

I am thinking of thanksgiving with just the two of us too.

I bought an mini laptop from an net auction (sort of Finnish version of ebay). I travel so often that I need it badly. It seems to be working and it has an okay keyboard so I hope it will do the job.

I also started playing Star Wars The Old Republic again.

Oh oh and my credit card is almost paid. Only round 200 euros next month and I am good. I still have another debt but now that I have paid this, I will finish that more quickly. Then finally.. I will start saving. Little by little.

I'm knackered, work is wearing me out. There's only so much positivity I can give in the face of the depression and the very real poverty some people are living in at the moment. No easy solutions.

I was going to post this in the fitness thread but it can go here. I'm seeing a personal trainer at the gym on Friday because he noticed how bad my posture is. Need to learn some excercises to strengthen certain muscles in my back so I hold my shoulders in the proper position. This one session is free but he'll probably try and make me pay for more. We'll see. I definitely need this. Have done since I was a kid, always been round shouldered.

My posture sucks too Jane. I have been wanting one of those things they sometimes use on Dancing With The Stars to make them keep good posture. Goes around your shoulders and neck and forces you into correct posture.

During the election I was hurt and angered by our "friend" Anna. Told James I did not want to have anything else to do with her. She was his friend to begin with anyway and he could continue on with her if he wants. I unfriended her and her son on Facebook. This afternoon the phone rings at the store and it was her. She said since the elections are over and politics are no longer an issue would we like to come spend "Turkey Day" at her house. I was very distant and brisk and told her that James and I had not discussed Thanksgiving.
