Friday!  Have to get up early tomorrow though. I changed my federation of Salaried Employees so there is a new member gettogether in Hämeenlinna. They pay the train tickets, one night in spa and dinners and lunched for 2 days. So I am game!

I'm trying to finish my essay this morning, then we have a cot to assemble, then maybe go to cinema.

Shingles are so painful. I've been in agony for a week and we only just found out why. I thought I'd torn a muscle in my hip/leg. I can't walk without strong pain killers at the moment so I'm either in agony or floating on the pain pills. I'll be glad when this has run it's course. This is one of the unhappy side effects of having a depressed immune system

Broke up with them boyfriend. Not even a free luxurious trip to Palm Springs was worth it!

Halloween decorations all up. 

Getting a much needed haircut and colour tomorrow after work. All in all... Yay!

Had a good weekend though Friday was terrible (I'll talk about it later, still want to be in denial). Anyways the little getaway in Hämeenlinna was just what I needed and my roommate was a match as well.

Thanks Kay! Almost there. I'm out on an errand at moment!! Cosmin started his new job today, I am waiting for him there cos he needs the workout equipment from my car. The red car is in for repairs so he's been loaned a mini!! But he needs to go to a client from work so needed his stuff. He didn't know he 'd be working this late today

Three days worth of utter drunkeness  

but it was the two year anniversary of Miguel's death so I had to celebrate his life and I sure did, called in sick to work today cause I just couldn't, I was still drunk and hung over at 8 this morning when I came home!

had a bowl of pozole, going to take Martin to work and then come back home and lay my ass on the couch

 

 

I heard everyone who has ever had the chicken pox has the shingles virus in them, a lie I say! Unless its the chicken pox vaccination which inserts the shingles virus, in which case it lies sleeping in us all!

I'm still not recovered from this fucking flu!

I'm so exhausted and Halloween is coming up. I have to make it through Halloween for the kid's sake but I really don't know if I can do that AND go with my friend to the Dr. Who convention. 

I can't believe it has been three years since Miguel passed, Jesse. I still can't believe it happened. Whenever I think of him, I think of the picture of him on the 4th of July, holding your dog and the American flag. 

Thanks Sheila, its been two years actually. I love that picture. It was taken after they stopped giving him chemo because they said it was no longer working. He had a very brief time, captured in that picture, when he looked and felt normal.

 

Stupid stomach, been acting up for few weeks now. I am actually stressing about it and that makes it worse. Grr.
