Oh and btw I'm Canadian. We're a bit better than the Americans... present company excepted of course....
I've got some ideas but will wait and see... Nicky did say Canada sorry about that! Thanks for the awesome comment as well and to Jane - to you both

| I liked Hunger Games, we watched Jane's Blu ray here. Nicky didn't like it he said it was miserable. I want to get the books also.

| I'm sure Nicky gave it a chance
Resident Evil was ruined by a fire fucking alarm in the theatre! Just when Alice and Ada were about to throw down with giant fiend with hammer! Bastards! Got a pass to come back and see the movie again
Went and got some gorditas, they were sooooo good.
Having a viewing tonight with Miguel's brother and his wife and kids for Cabin in the Woods!

| I also liked Hunger Games. It reminded me a bit of Logan's Run, the old Sci Fi flick....well worth watching in my opinion. I bought a tv yesterday... a Sony 46 inch LED.. I know nothing of technology so I got my brother over to install it and this morning watched an eppy of True Blood on it. Wow, sure does make a difference and I know it's a mere material possession but it does make me ever so happy lol. Well I'm off to the gym to stave off the inevitable disintegration of my body Latah gatahs. | |

| no more Downton for me; one of the characters may have the 'c' word. If I just watch Doctor Who maybe I'll be ok, but let's not tempt fate. And for those who say, 'Well it's a part of life' - well so is having a shit, but I haven't noticed any gratuitous scenes of Maggie Smith squatting over a porcelain bog lately | |

| Hungry! But I ate a lot of meat yesterday and feel I need a salad today, maybe a soup and salad, from Corner Bakery, yum
Been inspired by Shelia to re-read Shirley Jackson's We Have Always Lived In The Castle. The main character is tripping me out, wishing rotting writhing death on everyone, lol. Trying to remember the plot and all I recall is the family was poisoned by one of the two remaining girls...oh and its the Blackwood family, wonder if Anne Rice was inspired to use the Blackwood name from this book.
New Two Broke Girls and Hawaii Five O tonight!

| Glad to hear you are going to Mexico for your next vacation, Jane!!!
my boyfriend says he wants to send me to mexico next year for a week to meet his mother and his siblings. Who knows if that will happen! But if I do go, as long as I can see Diego Rivera's murals in Mexico City (that is where his family lives anyways) and go to Coyocan to see Frida and Diego's house, then all will be good! lol

8) Serious business. Let's hope everything turns out fine. Another badly slept night and my stomach is really being a bitch. But back at work and plenty to do.

So cool that you like Shirley Jackson, lovah! She is so brilliantly twisted. I can't read too much of her at once cos it gets right under my skin....She knows where I live, that woman.
