It feels like we went from summer directly to winter over here...and the trees haven't turned that gorgeous autumnal shade yet

It's pretty autumn-y over here. Today was gorgeous. We hardly ever get cold, "crisp" sunny autumn-days.

It was autumny here but the winds have shaken most of the leaves of. I am not huge fan of the fall. If its warmish and colorful then yeah but usually it is miserable, wet and grey or dark. Its my least favourite season of the year.




Have had to take more of those heatburn meds that the doc ordered. For now 1 is not enough, it hardly lasts 12 hours. Yesterday was bad, bad, bad. Crossing my fingers, it will start getting better.

I had THE BEST TIME OF MY LIFE last night. We did a hot tub party at my coworkers house. Me and 3 of my coworkers at the spa. Consume way too much food, though. My digestive tract is not happy with me today. And my coworkers are older than me too: they are 44, 54, and 65 and they are so free spirited and vivacious and just fun as hell!!! So important to keep your spirit alive throughout your life no matter your age!

friend had an extra bag of knob onions he gave me and I'm like what the heck am I gonna do with knob onions if I can't grill them? decided to half them and sautee them with potatoes and chicken pieces and spices, maybe some baby carrots, hope it turns out okay, I would make a stew but its not quite stew weather

Been out for dinner straight from work with workmates, my second treacle sponge in 3 days!! Also had a carvery, yummy.

Went to the animal rescue place today and met my new babies. They are so fucking cute. Bigger than they looked in the picture but still small. I am going to pick them up tomorrow afternoon. Mr. James does not know yet. I have not been the mama since my children passed. I had to go through an interview today.
