Are you gonna wait THAT long? How can you start a discussion so early, then. The dvd won't be out untill May!. i've watched it all on a torrent-site. took me hours to find. I'm less reluctant since a Mac doesn't attract virusses. But it DOES slow down your system. had to do a massive cleanup after i watched season 3 and 4 back-to-back.

Can't wait for season5...It will reveal more about the Authority and an "underground" vampire league!

Characters who are confirmed for season 5 include: Sookie, Bill, Eric, Alcide, Lafayette, Arlene, Terry, Jessica(yaaaaay), Hoyt(yaaaay), Sam, Jason, Pam(yaaaaay), and Patrick.

Denis O’Hare confirmed that Russell Edgington will return in the True Blood season 5 premiere. (Thank GOD! I loved Russel!

Scott Foley will return as Patrick Devins for at least half of the season 5 episodes.

Rutina Wesley has confirmed that Tara will be back in season 5(Either Eric or, Bill is gonna heal her, I think..oooh and then maybe sookie gets jealous when tara starts having sex dreams.Just like Sam had when Bill gave him the blood)

Nelsan Ellis says that we’ll see Jesus again in season 5.( liked him better in Ugly Betty despite his teeth.)

Season 3 actually did get better in the end, season 4 was just altogether bad. I am not sure if I am going to check 5 anymore. There is better stuff to waste time on!

Actually the first 2 episodes of Spartacus have been bit bleugh. Spartacus season 1 however got better when it progressed, it ended as wickedly good. Not sure if season 2 can outdo it. True blood season 1 was great, but it has gone downhill from that. It can happen to any series!

I hear you! I don't mind different "species" but it just seems they are introduced and then taken nowhere!

Don't wanna. I've read an excerpt(sp?) and I don't like the writing style. It reminds me of writers like Kelley Armstrong. Horror writers bringing witches, werevolves, vamps, etc. in quick-witted contemporary-style. mi no gusta es. Besides. I think a tv-show based on a book should stand alone. It's the directors' work of art. Just like in IWTV....then again; loved IWTV(the book), bien sur.

I've read the first book but I did not get hooked. I've heard the others are better though.

I only read the first book, I get confused when the books are different from the series. I'll stick to the series!

I tried reading the first book and I agree with Rodney, I HATE her writing style! It was horrid! I couldnt get past the first few chapters, I kept trying then eventually gave it, her writing style is not the least bit captivating and downright annoying!

And i did'nt. first epi's are always good. There's a ton of cliffhangers that set you up for the rest of the season and they need a lot of 'filler' as to not give too much away. I'm too happy to see everybody, again. so; i can't really say if this season is going to be any good. will wait untill y'all have seen it too. and then we can discuss some shit:P

LOL.When i was watching seasons back-to-back to keep up, i developed a certain, southern "twang" to my fucked up english-accent. It went away. But now, it's back:P

I have nothing going on in my life. I was bothered.

And then i got hot and bothered when i saw Erik("FUCK SOOKIE!") doing his ...thing...That man should be in porn.
there is a risk of "over-plotting" this season, tho. i wish they would let Terry Bellefleur alone for a while and wait a season. The wolf-pack can take a backseat too. i think that the AVL, Russel(be still my heart) and Eric, Sookie, Bill,Jason,Jessica...(and maybe Tara?) should get centre-stage. It's funny to see how quickly children seem to grow up on tv. Only a day has passed since last season and Alene's children seem to have grown 5 inches overnight. (You almost forget that those kid-actors have grown an entire years' worth!)
