Well I am an ex-smoker and I didn't really like your argument either to be honest, a man's home being his castle, though I do sympathize with you as now I absolutely *loathe* the smell of smoke and hate being around smokers and a lot of my friends are smokers. I remember Dan telling me when I was quitting that one day I would feel this way and be totally grossed out by it and I didn't believe him but how right he was!

Hopefully it won't happen again for a while. It's 6:50pm and still boiling hot today! We go through such extremes of weather

This weekend is the Schomberg Fair which I look forward to every year and then after the first of my bbq partays. Cleaning the house now and then going food shopping afterward.

The hot farmer is here mowing the lawn. He has his shirt off which is a pretty sight. Tis a pity he is dumber than a bag of hammers.

It seems that people dont smoke nearly as much anymore, most people I know do not so when I am around someone smoking, yea it is pretty damn intolerable for me! It didnt used to bother me that much back in the day

On tram going to head office for my interview this morning and delivering a presentation on my job this afternoon - wish me luck!!!

So hot today I feel like I'm on holiday! Been shorts shopping and waiting for part 2 of my day. relieved interview over!!

today and tomm I am booked solid at the spa. THANK GOD! cause so far this week has sucked.

I stayed home yesterday and today because of flu. Tomorrow, work calls if the fever doesn't rise that is.

only a couple of hrs before the Eurovision semi-final. It's funny. throughout the decades, this is the only event where european nations are actually 'liking' eachother. Bonding over extremely bad, euro-pop. Bring on the pumped up, inflated-breasted-slavic-Mariahs(they'll vote for eachother) The-artsy-fartsy-Norwegians. Tasteless-incomprehensible-french. The REALLY BAD brits(they pay for the gig so; we pretend to like their songs),underrated dutch(we suck as well, actually)...haven't watched it in years but, i'm curious if the dutch girl is going to wear this big indian feather-shit-thingy on her head and pretend not to imitate Cher-because she SO is.

The best part of Eurovision:All of the scores from all participating nations. The hosts always sweating because the producers are shouting in their earpiece(MOVE ON, WE STILL HAVE 10 COUNTRIES TO GO!)if nothing goes wrong;the "score-announcers"(via satelite) always feel the need to waste valuable airtime by being really slow...on purpose(it's tradition to fuck with the hosts' head)

Had a half day from work today to go and get the keys to the new flat but it wasn't ready so won't get keys until tmrw AM :-(

Then my car broke down when I was on my way home and had to get a tow truck to take it to the garage. Was too late for them to look at what's wrong so it will be tmrw. So I'm without a car for my move tmrw but hopefully it gets fixed during tmrw. Can't believe it happens when I desperately need a car for moving day! I will have removal men with the van but there is plenty of other running about I needed to do!!!
