Anyways I am feeling tad better. The tears are never too far away but in many ways the worst is behind (the actual vet visit and her putting Helmi Orvokki to sleep and watching it, carrying the dog from the wet and burying her...). Now it is softer, slower saddness that takes time but its not so... crushing. Plenty of whys though. Why now, why so young, why.... but that's understable. And very human.
For some reason my throat is hurty and I feel bit sick. Hopefully this is not a start for another flu. That kind of says something is truly gone shit in my defensive system as I had a flu just a month ago. I am still asking myself the whys with sasha. All the possible whys she got cancer, and all the possible things that I did that maybe started it. Like now I am thinking that she may have gotten it from vaccinations, because she had the tumor in her back right leg, where she got vaccinated. I only had her vaccinated twice: once when I first got her and then again a year after that. I never got her vaccinated any other year after that, but maybe it only took that one time. That and when she had the fleas and I had my apartment exterminated 8 times! God knows how much of the toxic fumes she was still breathing in each time after we were able to return to the apartment after extermination. I will never know. At least I know I fed her the best food water and litter but with those other variables, it wasnt enough. I just keep thinking if I never had her vaccinated at all, or if she never got fleas, would she had ever gotten cancer so young? She still could have been born with it, I will never know. They say though that fleas are most attracted to dogs and cats that are already sick with something, I guess they like sick blood better than healthy blood. She had the flea infestation pretty bad so that tells me that she must have already had the cancer growing which is why they were so attracted to her. 7 months later and I am still questioning the whys. I dont think I will ever stop.

| Piri piri is huge over here...see we have good food!!
Michele I don't think you are to blame at all for Sasha's cancer, please stop thinking you are. I know there is lots of info out there about causes but it is almost impossible to know for sure. Some times it just happens.
Typically I've left it to the end of the weekend to work on two presentations I have to give next Thursday - one for my interview for my further Probation Officer training, one for admin workers who have applied for my grade of job and are having a learning day to find out more about what we do. I'm in the middle trying to progress myself while encouraging the next generation!!

| sounds cool Jane!
I've been asked to speak about the Windows 7 install experience at the training next week, don't know what much to say as I've had zero time to prepare anything substantial!

| Last day of our Anne Boleyn Festival today. It has been a great 4 day event, with authors and historians, then the ghost talk and midnight vigil for Anne last night. The final event today was afternoon tea with four historical fiction novelists circulating amongst us chatting and debating historical fact vs fiction. Nicky with historical costumier Molly Housego in front of Blicking Hall: | |

oh thats right, I forgot yesterday was the anniversary of her execution. I feel like watching The Tudors now! are there ghost stories of Anne Boleyn? Does her ghost haunt the tower or something? I had read that Katherine Howard's ghost haunts which castle? I forget

| I asked that boy to be here when he gets out of work to have a few drinks with me as I'm leaving in the morning for the airport, I text him and where is he? At a kids party he says, and something about his uncle being drunk. Whatever. All I do for that boy and I ask one simple thing of him.
**sigh**
good night | |

Tell me about it. We also asked if we could have done something differently and got about 20 reasons why this could happen. There were stuff that we could have done differently for sure but also a lot of stuff we had no say in. We have had dogs before and none got this horrible sickness but maybe this dog should have been fed differently and could have been saved. Or maybe not. One things for sure, its usually not just one thing.

I forget It is said at Blicking Hall at midnight on the anniversary of her execution, Anne is seen arriving at Blicking Hall (photo above) in a carriage with her severed head in her hands. As part of the vigil at midnight we all went out on to the front drive to wait for her....... The Katherine Howard ghost haunts Hampton Court Palace : http://www.hrp.org.uk/learninganddiscovery/discoverthehistoricroyalpalaces/ghoststorieshomepage/catherinehowardscreaminglady

Dan! You are terrible! How dare you! i'm not some three course meal to be "served up" to anyone willing to pay a reasonable price($250) when you consider that, "the appetizer," and "main course " are taken "orally" cu(l)minating with a spectacular"dessert".....involving whipped cream($10 extra)or other "foodstuffs(no vegetables/fruits.this includes pineapples). I'm just not like that! Sheesh!
