It rains pretty much every day, not all day but far too much for summer. Hardly any sun gets through the cloud but it can get humid.

Had an impromptu cookout last night at the neighbors suggestion and I am still hung over.

We saw Marti Pellow in Jeckyl and Hyde musical last year, he was really good!

He was a lost soul addicted to some drug a few years back but seem to have got over that.

havent been online for 4 days and I am liking not being on the computer so much! I miss you guys but I feel like I am really living my life now, whereas for years I was wasting too much of it on here. Been spending a lot of time at the pool, with gabriel, and working out everyday! So proud of myself! Also watching some new shows on my cable.

I am really into this show on HBO called Girls. I also watched this show that was on the discovery channel I think in 2010 called The Colony. It takes 7 people and puts them in an experiment apocolyse scenario. The majority of the worlds population has been killed off by a deadly mutated flu virus. And these people were dropped off in an abandoned (never rebuilt) part of the gulf coast that was damaged by hurricane katrina and are left to their own devices to survive and rebuild. Very intesesting. It made me realize that I would suck at surviving unless I was with a group of people who knew about building and making things. I am not mechanically inclined at all. these people built various things from scavenging from old abandoned cars and buildings. They got electricity going by building a wind mill and what not. And hostile outsiders kept invading their camp and stealing their stuff. I am hooked.

I have HBO toooooo! maybe i'll watch that Girls-show. We're only a day behind! how cool is that.
I don't like those "what if" reality shows. it's so fake. I saw this one about going back in time and living like the pilgrims and one living like the first people to settle in the west in the days of the goldrush. I mean, they try to make it seem so realistic. But, hello; it's NEVER going to be like a post apocalyptic world. At the end of the day it's just about how to live without modern conveniences and they repackage it into a new model for a "reality" tv-show and the viewing audience thinks they get a real insight into what it really might be like. Hello? There's a camera right in your face and a whole production team running around trying to get the right sound, light, storyline. they edit all that shit into a coherent story. it's "Survivor" for people who want to feel smart and watch "highbrow' tv. there's your "post-apocalyptic world"

Our fireworks got rained/thunderstorm'd out but it turned out nice because we have been watching all the specials that we never see because we are usually at a cookout or up on the prom.

Michele - I hear you. Internet can take your life, if you let it. I am pretty good with it. Because Internet is last on my list and so is television. I always smirk when someone says that they cannot do something/go some place because something is on... I MEAN COME ON! You rather watch tv than do .. well just about anything?? Its just funny to me.

That Colony thing sounds too much like another version of Survivor. I am sick of reality shows. SICK. OF. THEM.

Depends. I used to watch "my life on the D-list" and I liked it....
And i must say...i do watch toddlers and Tiaras. it's the funniest shit, ever. And i do enjoy fights and rediculousness. . But, I'll never watch an entire episode and get really "into" it.
But "elimination" shows or shows where they put a group of people together in a rediculous setting....HORRIBLE. I do like reading about them. as in when a comedian or whatever talks about it and pokes fun of itThe blatant prompting and scripting,"scheming" and people taking it seriously....

Like Kathy Griffin said: there is nothing 'real' about reality-shows! It's impossible.

My bro and his new wife came by for a bbq with my sister and mom. Burgers and hot dogs and pasta salad.

We watched some of the Twilight Zone marathon (yay his wife likes Twilight Zone) and then we all watched 21 Jump Street. It was effing funny. Cant believe Holly Robinson, Johnny Depp, Deluise and Grieco made cameos.

She Ra even got a happy cause she got the dropped dogs and hamburgers. lol It was drizzling here yesterday. Rick was in a hurry before it rained.
