Hi everyone, online briefly here at the clubhouse internet cafe.


Soooooo..my boss is turning the fine dining italian restaurant into a diner so we are going to be closed for the next 4-6 weeks. Not good for me this time of year when it is the slowest at the spa and I am currently making half of what I nornally make a the spa and now I have an apartment to pay for. So tomm I am going to apply for paritial unemployment and hopefully I get it. Though Gabriel said he will help me with my bills, I dont want to rely on him if I can help it. He tried giving me $300 yesterday and I told him no, hold on to that for now, I dont need money right yet. Our boss got him a temporary job working at another restaurant until we reopen, so at least he is still going to be working. I wanted to cook dinner for us yesterday but he wont let me cook, I havent cooked for him yet but he assumes that I cant cook, lol. Which he is semi right about in that I cant do much in the kitchen. What I was gonna make for us last night I will just make for myself tonight and eat the leftovers for lunch at work tomm. More for me!

We had a really fun day yesterday. We went out to eat, played tennis, and watched a movie. I dont like that now I will have like 3-4 days off a week now until the restaurant opens back up. Welll at least I have a pool to hang out at. The pool is so amazing here, it makes me feel like I am at at resort.

Anyway, it takes forever to delete my history on this computer so I am going to go, just stopped in to say hi!

I fully expected some people on here to disagree with the view that it is baaaaad!!!


I'm used to people trying to argue with me about it, and it's hard because if they argue that alcohol is a worse drug I do agree....but the biggest issue I have with my people who are seriously addicted is the financial aspect, I have people spending £50 a week on Cannabis who are on £70 a week Job Seekers allowance, and it don't add up!

Hi Michele, sorry to hear about your money problems but sounds like things are good with Gabriel (I love that name!)

As ONE of the resident potheads on this forum I can tell you all about pot smoking and I deem it good!

Jane if it wasn't pot it would be something else, these people have addictive personalities, they need to work on themselves psychologically and spiritually otherwise they are just wasting the use of the drug!

Michele where did you meet this bloke Gabriel? Seems too soon to be offering you such money, you must be giving up the queso big time!

I have to agree, there are people who need to be f'd up to survive. They can't handle life as it is. And heck, think about the moment when you have those few glasses of wine, world seems softer and better and funnier. 8) I can relate! I have never smoked though and I doubt I will try either. I like alcohol.

cannabis is on par with alcohol, to me. If people spend 50 pounds a week on the stuff...prices for cannabis in holland and the UK are roughly similar. That is a LOT of weed. I used to spend no more than 10 euros a week on it. And that was back when i smoked regularly. if you smoke that much; something is definately up. it might not be as "dangerous' as alcohol but, clearly this person NEEDS to smoke a lot to take the edge of things. and cannabis isn't exactly the kind of drug that makes you get up and do something. So whatever they say, tell them: Excuses, excuses, excuses. you have stuff to deal with but, you prefer to get high-How is that working for ya?

I like alcohol, every now and then. But, i prefer the "high" of cannabis over alcohol. alcohol tends to make me emotional and when you overdo it; you feel like shit. With cannabis; you just fall asleep when you go overboard and wake up hungry and everything tastes AWESOME.:P I'll prolly have a lil' smoking session this saturday. depends on my mood.

yeah 50 quids worth of weed is a hell of alot, about 5-6 grams. craig buys a ten deal and it last him most of the week. if one person smokes that much in a week they need a kick up the arse

he is the cook at the restaurant. He gave me $300 to pay for my movers after we had only been dating for 2 weeks. What can I say? he so far is proving to be genuinely a great guy and geniunely into me.

I agree with Jesse, pot should totally be legal. It is only harmful in the way that it can be a gateway drug to other hard drugs, but I do think that people who are really fucked up mentally and emotionally are going to go to alcohol and hard drugs to cope with their issues regardless of if they smoke pot first or not. Pot has a lot of medical benefits, and unless you smoke it 24/7 it isnt harmful. and it is the easiest drug to quit, in my opinion.

When I was a social worker, I never really had a problem with my clients smoking weed, unless of course they were due for a urine test!

Oh Dan, the fires are up in the high country/forest. We are down in the valley.
We have been getting alot of wicked dust storms here though. Like a haboob.no rain and just excessive heat. Extreme heat.

it is probably a superficial peel, which means 30% or less concentration of acid, which should only make you mildly red for no more than an hour or two after, probably not even that long.

Those peels that make you red and look like a freak show for days are supposed to be doctor or nurse administered and are 50% or higher acid concentration.
