today and then my 2 week holiday begins. Yeyness. Going to see my date tonight and hopefully this weekend we get to spend more time together than just the regular 2 hours now and then. Makes it easier to see if this could work. I tend to get bit alarmed at some point.. r/l scare me so I usually do everything possible to end it before it goes there  

 

My husband is a twit, he thought he had lost his glasses on the way to his mums, he searched all over the bus, i walked to the bus stop to look. Got back in and looked all over then though, hmm, craig was in the bathroom before he went. And there they were, twit

Ha!!! Bless him!!! I sympathise, it is hard to see your glasses when you're not wearing them! I've mislaid mine a few times

At work and bored....our new computer system has crashed!! Loads to do but can't do anything!!!

It's so frustrating then computer systems crash.

It's early morning for me, we have friends coming over for an old fashioned roast dinner tonight  

Yummo. Are you serving Yorkshire pudding with it? I will probably choose that as my last meal when I face the firing squad for thought crimes.

I lost mine too (I wear contacts in public) and I searched high and low for them, cursing like a Glasgow whore, and MY CAT found them. I swear she came up to me, pushing them with her dear little paws and said" miaw" and strolled off! I'm crazy about this particular cat. Of course, I love all my pets but Salem is my favourite.

I hate when that happens.. and they usually are very near!



First day off, naturally woke at 7 am but just kept napping till 8.30. I should do a pit stop at my folks and change a light to my car. I wonder if I can. Then some plans with my date. Its a rally weekend in Jyväskylä so there will be a lot of people about.

Not doing much today, been to meadowhall, waiting for my love at the moment in his car cos he's gone straight from there to train his client....then need to tidy and clean the flat. Also he got a new phone so we need to transfer all his contacts manually...there is no other way...

Totally useless day for me. My date sort of blew me off, which was nice  We were suppose to go to a festival next weekend but... anyways, this was really his first and only minus, I am going to give him a chance to make it right. If not, I will ditch him and go to the festival alone.

I was in Atlanta, Georgia last week and various parts of Virginia and Washington, DC this past week!

My head is going to explode if theo doesnt stop nagging. Ugh. Just two weeks and we go away, then i get to be nagged somewhere else lol

Day at the beach, it was another hot day. Tomorrow I have two workmates coming for our annual 'midday drunk fest', our movie is Critters and we have all sorts of crunchy foods to eat.

Critters! I used to like that movie as a kid! That and Ghoulies.

So this Peter Capaldi bloke is the new Doctor Who? Well, I suppose he has the look

Ive got my eye on a toy critter made by love and a sandwich. First though is a wookie or ewok for theo


Hmmm, off to see if critters is on dvd for cheap :)

Me and my husband are having our first real fight. He really disrespected me, but I dont think he will ever apologize.

Sometimes he goes out after work with a friend or two, and honestly I dont care. I am not one of those wives who is like "no you are not allowed to go out" he can go out 2 or 3 times a week if he wants, I dont mind. Now if he were to do it every night, different story. I also told him he can go to a strip club with his friends, or with me. I DONT CARE! I am not one of those women who forbids strip clubs. All I ask is that you let me know you are going, and about what time you think you will be home or if you think you are going to have more than 2 drinks, please spend the night at your brothers or your friends house, but please let me know that is what you are doing.

Most of the time he will tell me, but sometimes he gets into his "I am the macho mexican man and therefore I dont have to tell my wife what I am doing, because I am the man and she is the woman" bullshit. So when he does do this, I do get a little mad, but I try not to let me anger get the best of me. I let him know I am upset, and please give me the respect of texting me or callling me to let me know what is up, or if I text or call you asking you where you are and when will you be home, please answer me. The last time I was pretty ticked off and didnt speak to him for half of a day then when we got home from work I clearly communicated to him my wishes, that this is a simple thing to do, and there is no reason to get me angry by not giving me this courtesy, especially when I am so easy going with him and I dont ever give him problems. I thought he understood.

But apparently not.

So last night he never mentioned about going out after work. I was very tired last night, the previous two nights I didnt sleep well (especially the night before we were watching the movie Savages and it was giving me nightmares all night long) and this morning I was starting at my new server job so it was especially important for me to get a good night sleep. I felll asleep around 11, and would occasionally wake up. Woke up around 12:30, texted him asking him when will he be home? He texted me something in spanish which I didnt understand. I fall back asleep. I wake up again about an hour later and he is still not home. I texted him again. He responds that he will be home in a few minutes, go back to sleep. I wake up again an hour later, still not home. I text him a 3rd time. He texts me back a sentence in spanish that I cant understand most of it. I go back to sleep, I continue to wake up throughout the night. At about 6 am I wake up because Pequena is bugging me to feed her. He is STILL not home. Now I am really mad so I go on the computer to translate those couple of text messages that he wrote that I didnt understand. As I was doing that, he happens to walk in the door. He was shocked to see me up on the couch at 6 am, he was expecting me to be asleep. He was in his regular clothes, not work clothes, which means he already knew even before he went into work yesterday that he was going to go out, it wasnt a spur of the moment thing that was decided late at the end of his shift even. I ask him where he was, I made a point to tell him obviously he knew he was going to go out in advance and why didnt he tell me, yadda yadda. He refused to answer my questions. We went to bed he tried to cuddle with me, I refused. I asked him the questions again, he still refused to answer. I got out of bed, he got mad and asked where I was going, I said I am going to sleep on the couch. I told him how angry I was, how I didnt sleep well because I didnt know where he was or when he will be home and how that is very inconsiderate of him, especially since I am starting a new job in the morning to do that to me, now I have to go into a new job on 3 days worth of no sleep.

Two hours later when I got up for work, I decided to not be respectful or considerate to him. Every thing I did I made a ton of noise, I kept continously waking him up. I didnt get sleep because of him so I didnt want him to get any sleep. I pissed him off real good. He still has never apologized. Still wont tell me why he was so disrepectful. What i did was very immature, and I kind of feel dissappointed in myself for being so immature. It was wrong of me, but I had to really show him that he doesnt respect me, I wont respect him.

This just has me fuming so much because it is just completely uncalled for. I am a very easy going wife who has no problem with him going out, I never give him grief for it, I just want the respect of being told. It is a simple thing to do, and when you have a wife who is always cool with you going out and doing your own thing, there is no reason to be disrespectful and inconsiderate and to get her mad for no reason.

I know he is just doing it to prove the point that "he is the man" this is such a male latino thing, Darwin used to do the same thing to me. Though Darwin did eventually stop. I just dont think that there is anything I can say or do that will get Daniel to stop this. I dont know what to do. Except to do the same thing to him. I will start going out with my friends and staying out real late and not tell him where I am or answer his phone calls or text messages.

That's awful and very disrespectful of him. I didn't know real men are so rude. In my books real men have the greatest respect for women and those around them. Thankfully my husband does show me that great respect all the time.

I don't mind if he goes out, but he does let me know when he'll be home. For the record he doesn't go out often because he likes me to go with him.

I feel for you LadyMandingo. I'm sure in all other ways he's a wonderful man, but he's really let you and himself down by doing that to you.
